Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Blanched Almond Flour
  • 1/4 Cup Egg White Protein Powder
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 4 Ounces Cold Cream Cheese (Cut into chunks)
  • 1 Large Egg

Butter Brush

  • 2 Tablespoons Salted Butter
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Himalayan Pink Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Parsley Flakes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350° F, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • In a medium sized mixing bowl, add your flour, egg white protein powder, baking powder, salt and garlic. Mix together with a fork or whisk until everything is well mixed and evenly distributed.
  • Next take your chilled cream cheese and cut it into cubes. Using a pastry cutter cut in the cubes of cream cheese until you have a dry crumbly mixture.
You can also do this in a food processor if you would prefer. I personally love working the dough with a pastry cutter, and mixing by hand. Either method brings the same result, and if you love using your food processor, then go ahead and use it!
  • Once your cream cheese has been cut in, add the egg and mix again until just combined. Next mix in your cheddar cheese by hand until evenly distributed.
  • Roll the dough into 1 1/2 inch balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Lightly flatten the dough with the palm of your hand.
  • Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until your biscuits have began to turn golden brown and are firm to the touch.
  • Once done melt the butter for your butter brush, and add your garlic, salt and parsley. Brush the butter over the biscuits, and enjoy!
